This is 3 Ladyknowe. It's a ground-floor apartment in Moffat. Everything's on one level, which is handy. It's a five-minute walk into the town centre.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main space is open-plan. Patio doors open out to your own enclosed garden. There's a hot tub out there.
The town has what you need. A few shops, a co-op, some cafes, and pubs. The local information is good if you're a walker – Moffat is on the Southern Upland Way. The Grey Mare's Tail waterfall is about a fifteen-minute drive north. It's impressive.
Within about half an hour you've got a few things. The 7stanes mountain biking trails at Glentress and Innerleithen are east, towards Peebles. For fishing, there are lochs at the Green Frog Centre on the edge of town. If you fancy the coast, you can drive down to Dumfries in under forty minutes.
Facilities wise: it's got a TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed but I'd keep an eye on a dog that's a known jumper.
