Kirsty Cottage Moffat

Kirsty Cottage is on one of the quiet streets right in the middle of Moffat. It's an end-terrace cottage, built with local stone. It's about 250 years old.

It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The layout is pretty classic for a place this age: one bathroom, a living room with a woodburning stove, and a kitchen at the back. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

There's a garden at the back which is just for you. It gets the sun in the afternoon.

You can bring one dog. Please keep it off the furniture.

The town has everything you need. There's a good shop and a couple of pubs are about a two-minute walk away. They serve food.

For getting out, you're in a good spot. It's about a 30-minute drive to Dumfries if you need bigger shops or a cinema. If you want to go further, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Carlisle are all roughly an hour's drive.

The area is known for walking and cycling. The Southern Upland Way goes through here. The 7stanes mountain biking trails are nearby. For fishing or a family day out, there's the Green Frog Centre on the edge of town.

Facilities wise: it's got wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
