Roseburn Cottage Moffat

Roseburn Cottage is in Moffat, right on the edge of the town. It's part of our house, the wing where we used to keep the pony and trap. It's for two people.

It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well equipped. There's one bedroom and one bathroom. The living room is bright, with French doors looking out to the garden. There's a wood burning stove in there. We leave logs for you.

You have a small courtyard garden at the back, just for you. There's also a shared lawn out the front. Parking is right outside.

The cottage is all on the ground floor. The doorways are wide and there's a ramp, so it's accessible if you use a wheelchair.

We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We have bike storage.

Moffat itself is about half a mile walk. It's a proper little town with shops, pubs and restaurants. There's a golf course on the edge of town. The area is good for walking, right on the Southern Upland Way.

You can drive to the Grey Mare's Tail waterfall in about fifteen minutes. St Mary's Loch is about thirty minutes away. For a day out, Drumlanrig Castle is within an hour's drive. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both about an hour and a half by car.
