This luxury shore front apartment is situated on the Ayrshire coast, only from the shore with stunning panoramic views to the Isle of Arran and the Arrochar Alps. The village of Skelmorlie is home to the architecturally stunning Wemyss Bay Railway Station, voted one of the top 10 stations in the UK, the station also has a café and bar. The village also has takeaway restaurants and shop. It s also home to the ferry port where you can catch a ferry over to the Isle of Bute which makes for a fantastic day out. Ferries to the islands of Arran and Cumbrae are all close by and also over to Dunoon and into the Loch Lomond National Park or to explore Argylls secret coast. There is also great train links to Glasgow from the station. Close by is the bustling town of Largs with its shops, restaurants and promenade. Ayrshire offers a varying coastline with villages, beaches and rocky coves to explore, and is a perfect location for cyclists and walkers - Skelmorlie heralds the start of the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a 100-mile long coastal walk. Inland, there is walking, cycling, gardens and castles to visit, riding, fishing, racing and a choice of golf courses, including the world famous Turnberry.
