This stunning 18th-century lodge is situated only a few hundred yards from the coast. Close to the towns of Largs and Gourock with shopping, eateries and pubs. There are excellent train links to the city of Glasgow, with museums, gardens, art galleries, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. The Island of Bute, Cumbrae and Arran, have good ferry links and are all close by with Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, within easy reach. Take a ferry over to Dunoon and explore the Cowal Peninsula, known as Argyll’s secret coast. Head south into Ayrshire, with its varying coastline with villages, beaches and rocky coves to explore, with Skelmorlie heralding the start of the Ayrshire Coastal Path; a 100 mile long coastal walk. Inland there is walking, cycling, gardens and castles to visit, riding, fishing, racing and a choice of golf courses, including the world famous open venues of Troon and Turnberry. Beach ½ mile.
