This is Home Farm Lodge. It's a detached apartment we've built at the end of our own drive. It's just for two people.
It's got a five-star rating. That means it's new and everything works properly. It's warm, the water pressure is good. It's well-insulated so you don't hear us, and we don't hear you. There's a dishwasher, a walk-in shower, and the bed is a king size. Towels and bedding are included.
The main thing is the view. It looks south over open fields. There's a private patio area. Ten metres from your door is a small lake. You're welcome to fish in it if that's your thing.
You're a couple of miles from Baston village. That's where you'll find a shop and a couple of pubs. Stamford is about eight miles away. That's your proper market town with good shops and places to eat.
If you want to get out, Rutland Water is about twenty-five minutes by car. You can cycle or walk around it, or do the water sports. Barnsdale Gardens are out that way too. Burghley House is near Stamford.
