The Den is in Baston, Lincolnshire. It's on a site called Fletland Holiday Hamlet, right by the River Glen. You get your own patio looking over the river. There are fields on the other side with horses and sometimes llamas.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom is en-suite. It's all on the ground floor and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
The site has about three acres of gardens, mostly lawn. You can walk by the river on a private path across the fields. There's a big, enclosed area for dogs to run off the lead. There's also a tennis court you can book to use.
Baston village has a shop and a pub that does food. Market Deeping is three and a half miles away for more shops. Stamford is about nine miles. That's where the Burghley Horse Trials are. Peterborough is eleven miles.
The area is flat, good for cycling. You can fish locally. There's on-site parking and an electric vehicle charger.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
