The Sett is a one bedroom cottage on a little estate by the River Glen in Baston. It sleeps two. You get your own patio that looks out over the river and the fields. There are horses and llamas in the next field.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished and comfortable. It's all on one level and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
The grounds are about three acres, mostly lawn. There's a fenced-off field just for dogs to run around in, and you can use the tennis court if you ask first. There's a private walk along the riverbank too.
Baston village has a shop and a pub that does food, about a mile away. Market Deeping is three and a half miles for more shops.
It's a quiet spot. Good for walks straight from the door, and local fishing if that's your thing. Stamford is nine miles, it's a nice town and where the Burghley Horse Trials are. Peterborough is eleven miles for bigger shops or the train.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. Parking is right outside.
If you're looking for things to do, the National Trust at Burghley House is close, and Visit Peterborough has local information.
