Seatown Cottage is located in the heart of historic Cullen, close to shops, cafés, coastal walks, and the beach. This area of the coast is considered one of the most exceptional in the world by National Geographic. It’s a great place for walking - with some great cafés and coffee stops. In Cullen there is also a sailing school where you can learn the basics of sailing and sea kayaking, or try stand-up paddle boarding. Several paths and cycle paths can also be found nearby.
The cottage is a short stroll from the celebrated Cullen Links Golf Course and the beautiful Cullen beach is approximately 100 meters from the cottage. The local pub/restaurant is less than 500 metres away, perfect for an evening drink after a day of walking around the historic locations this area has to offer. Why not take a trip down to Spynie Palace, the largest surviving medieval bishop’s house in Scotland – residence of the bishops of Moray for five hundred years. Royalty travelling in the area sometimes used the palace as a guest house.
