The Byre
The Byre is in Ardens Grafton. It's a converted stone barn for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's open plan downstairs. Kitchen, sofa, that sort of thing. The bedroom is upstairs. The stairs are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but you need to be a bit careful.
Outside there's a private patio with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the evening. You look out onto a field. It's very quiet.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The village has a pub. It's a short walk. They do food.
Stratford-upon-Avon is about a 15 minute drive. That's where the Shakespeare stuff is. The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust runs several of the houses. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is there if you want to see a play.
For a longer day out, the Cotswolds are about half an hour's drive west. Warwick Castle is about 25 minutes north. If you like walking, the Cotswolds National Landscape site has route ideas.
We don't allow pets, sorry. A travel cot and highchair are here if you need them.
