This is Tudor Cottage in Barton, Warwickshire. It's a semi-detached place, one of the old ones built in the 1500s, so it's Grade II listed. It looks out over the River Avon.
It sleeps five people. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean but it's not a show home. The stairs are steep, as you'd expect. The ceilings are low in places because of the beams.
You've got a garden at the back that leads onto a bit of a market garden where we grow some fruit and veg. There's a smaller garden at the front with a table. The river bank is right at the bottom of the garden, so you can fish from there if you have a license. It's coarse fishing.
Barton itself is small. There's a pub here. For shops, you'd go to Bidford-on-Avon, which is about a mile away. They've got cafes, a butcher, that sort of thing.
Stratford-upon-Avon is about a ten minute drive. That's where you'll find the Shakespeare theatres and most of the shops and restaurants. The Cotswolds are close too, maybe twenty minutes to places like Broadway.
For facilities, it's got the basics: parking, wifi, a TV, and bedding is included. There's no dishwasher. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning things to do, the National Trust has a few properties nearby, and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust site is useful for Stratford.
