Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is in Bidford on Avon. It's a detached, single storey building that was converted from the old stables. It sleeps two people.
There's one bedroom upstairs. You get to it by a paddle staircase, which is a bit like a ladder. It's fine if you're steady on your feet. The bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It has a glass section in the ceiling.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. It has the original stone manger built into it. The back door opens onto a small, enclosed courtyard garden. It gets the sun in the morning.
The village centre is a couple of minutes' walk. There's a supermarket, a few cafes, and several pubs. The river is right there for walks.
Stratford-upon-Avon is about a 15 minute drive. That's where you'll find the Shakespeare sights, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and most of the shops and restaurants. The Cotswolds are close by. Cheltenham is about 40 minutes away if you're going to the races.
The property is rated 3 Star. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is available. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's on-site parking.
