Hathaway Hamlet
Hathaway Hamlet is a cottage in Shottery, about a mile from Stratford-upon-Avon town centre. It's a one-bedroom place, so it sleeps two. You can bring one dog.
It's a listed building, so it's got the old features. Beams, leaded windows, a big inglenook fireplace. The roof is thatched. The stairs are steep, because it's old. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is about 200 yards from Anne Hathaway's Cottage. It's quiet here, even with the tourists nearby. There's a shop and a pub that does food a quarter of a mile away.
Stratford itself is a short drive or a pleasant walk. All the Shakespeare stuff is there. Warwick Castle is about half an hour by car. Kenilworth Castle is similar. The Cotswolds start not far away, maybe 20 minutes to get into that sort of countryside.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
