Lovely Old Cottage is in the middle of Stratford. It's a terraced house, so you've got neighbours either side, but it's quiet inside. The big thing is the location. You're right there for everything.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The beams are low in places, mind you. If you're tall, you'll need to watch your head.
There's a pub about ten paces from the front door. A shop is twenty yards the other way. You really don't need the car for most things. You can walk down to the river or to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in a few minutes.
It's William Shakespeare's town, so all that stuff is on your doorstep. His birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, that kind of thing. The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust website has the details.
If you do drive, Warwick Castle is about twenty minutes away. The Cotswolds are maybe half an hour. The station is a ten minute walk if you fancy a day trip to Birmingham or London.
For the house itself: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a small enclosed patio out the back, and parking for one car on site. WiFi works fine. No pets, I'm afraid.
