Lovely Old Cottage
This is the cottage in Stratford. It's a three-storey terrace house, old, right in the town centre. You can walk to everything. The front door opens straight onto the pavement.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after. The stairs are steep and narrow though, like most old houses here. You need to be careful on them.
There's a tiny enclosed courtyard garden at the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You can park one car on the drive at the rear.
You're about a two-minute walk from the river. The shops, the theatre, and all the main Shakespeare sights are on your doorstep. The Royal Shakespeare Company theatre is just down the road. For planning visits, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust site has all the details.
If you want to drive out, you can be in the Cotswolds in under half an hour. Warwick Castle is about twenty minutes away. The station is a ten-minute walk if you want to get the train to Birmingham or London.
Inside, it's got all the things you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. It's set up as a proper holiday let. No pets allowed.
