Perfect for a couple as a stop off on the North Coast 500 or a longer break so you can pause and explore the amazing area around Rogart. You’re only 5 miles from the coast and the beaches of Golspie and Dornoch will be frequent haunts when staying at Pittentrail Pods.
With the NC500 so close you can be touring the far north east coast in no time at all. Brora, Helmsdale, John O’Groats and Orkney are all day-trip options. Inland from the pods you have Lairg only a few miles away which is known as the Crossroads of the Highlands. From Lairg you can easily go north, north-west and west, via amazing interior roads to reach incredible sandy beaches, iconic Munros and isolated villages like Durness.
