Ty Cwtch
This is Ty Cwtch. It’s outside Holyhead on Anglesey, in a place called Penrhosfeilw. The views are the main thing. You can see South Stack Lighthouse one way and Snowdonia the other.
It’s a small place, for two people only. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it’s well equipped and finished to a good standard. It’s all on the ground floor and the doorway is wide, with a walk-in shower, so it works for most wheelchair users too.
There’s a hot tub outside. It’s in your own enclosed patio area. You’re next to our house, but the garden is private.
The coast path is right there. You can walk down to the RSPB reserve at South Stack in a few minutes. It’s good for seabirds and you can see seals. Porth Dafarch beach is about a mile’s walk or a short drive.
Trearddur Bay is a couple of miles away. That’s where the main shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs are.
If you want to explore, Holyhead is ten minutes for the ferry port. The whole coast around here is good for walking. For a proper walk up a hill, Holyhead Mountain is nearby. Beaumaris is about half an hour’s drive for the castle and the seafront. The Menai Bridge to the mainland is 25 minutes away, then you’re into Snowdonia.
The house has the usual things: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
