Ty Cwtch

Ty Cwtch is in Penrhosfeilw on Anglesey. It's a little one-bedroom cottage next to my house. It sleeps two. The views are good. You can see South Stack Lighthouse one way and Snowdonia the other.

The rating is 5 Star, which covers things like the hot tub in the garden, the fact it's all on one level, and the parking. It's very clean and well-equipped.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, no bath. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. Towels and bedding are included. It's suitable for wheelchair access from the parking area right into the main room.

You're on farmland here. It's quiet. To get to the coast path or the RSPB reserve at South Stack, you just walk out the gate. It's a couple of minutes on foot. You'll see seabirds and seals.

The nearest beach is Porth Dafarch, about a mile away. For shops and pubs, Trearddur Bay is a bit further, maybe three miles. Holyhead is a short drive if you need the ferry to Ireland or bigger supermarkets.

Attractions within half an hour include the castles at Beaumaris and Caernarfon, and Plas Newydd house. The whole of Snowdonia is accessible.

Up to two dogs are welcome. There's an enclosed garden for them. You can store bikes. There's a cot and a highchair if needed.
