This is Primrose Cottage. It's on the western side of Anglesey, near Holyhead. It's a detached stone cottage, next to our house. The views are really good. You look out towards the sea, where you can see South Stack Lighthouse, or inland towards Snowdonia.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The main room is open plan. There's an enclosed patio garden with a hot tub. I know it sounds a bit fancy, but it's a nice place to sit, especially in the evening.
You're on a farm here. It's quiet. In a few minutes you can walk down to the RSPB reserve at South Stack. The cliffs are full of birds in season. You'll often see seals in the sea below. The coastal path is right there. The nearest beach for a swim is at Porth Dafarch, about a mile down the lane.
For shops and a pub, you'll need to drive to Trearddur Bay. That's about three miles. Holyhead is the nearest town. It's a port for ferries to Ireland if you fancy a day trip.
You can drive into Snowdonia National Park in under half an hour. Good castles like Caernarfon are about 40 minutes away. There's also Plas Newydd, which is a National Trust house and gardens on the island. It's worth a look.
The cottage has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you need it.
