Stack View Cottage

Stack View Cottage is in Penrhosfeilw, on Anglesey. It's next to our house, but it's separate and you get the place to yourselves.

It sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.

The main thing is the view. You look straight out towards South Stack Lighthouse on one side, and you can see the mountains of Snowdonia on the other. The stairs are fine. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. There's a hot tub in the garden.

You're on coastal farmland here. In a couple of minutes you can walk onto the RSPB reserve at South Stack. The cliffs are full of seabirds in season. You can walk down to the lighthouse if you don't mind steps. Porth Dafarch beach, which is sandy, is about a mile's drive.

The nearest shop is about two and a half miles away. The nearest pub and restaurant is in Trearddur Bay, about three miles away. That's also where you'll find a good beach and cafes.

Holyhead is a short drive for the ferry to Ireland. For a day out, you can drive to Plas Newydd, which is a National Trust house with good gardens. Beaumaris is a nice town with a castle too. All of that is within about half an hour.

Facilities wise, it's got what you'd need: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. We allow up to three well-behaved dogs.
