Seascape

This is Seascape. It's in Penrhosfeilw on Anglesey. The cottage is next to where I live, but the garden is all yours.

It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which is honestly just a rating. It means it's well-appointed, comfortable and clean. You'll have your own hot tub out in the garden. The view from there is either out to the South Stack Lighthouse or back towards Snowdonia. It changes with the weather.

You're on coastal farmland here, right in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The RSPB reserve at South Stack is a few minutes' walk away. The cliffs are packed with seabirds in season, puffins too, and you can often see seals in the sea below. The coastal path is right there for walking.

The nearest proper beach is Porth Dafarch, about a mile down the road. It's a nice sandy cove. For shops and places to eat, Trearddur Bay is just a bit further on. Holyhead is a short drive if you need the ferry to Ireland or bigger supermarkets.

Within about half an hour you can drive into Snowdonia. The castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris are all reachable. Plas Newydd, the National Trust house, is on the island and worth a visit. There's a golf course nearby if that's your thing.

For facilities, you've got pretty much everything: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. There's parking. The garden is enclosed. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.

Some useful links if you're planning: RSPB South Stack, Snowdonia National Park and National Trust Plas Newydd.
