Foty Llanelidan

Foty is one of two pods on our farm. It's in Llanelidan, which is near Ruthin. It sits up on a bit of a hill, so the views are good. You look out over fields.

It sleeps four, but it's one main room with a double bed and then a separate small bunk room. That's it. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern inside, an open-plan sort of space. The kitchen area has what you need.

Outside, there's a patio with a table and chairs, a barbecue, and your own hot tub. The track up to the pods is rough. It's a proper farm track, so take it slow in a low car.

You're on a working sheep farm. You'll see us about, and you'll hear the sheep. The farm dog might bark. That's just how it is.

For supplies, the Rhug Estate farm shop is about a ten-minute drive. They do good local produce. The nearest pub is in Rhewl, a couple of miles down the road.

Ruthin is the main town, about 15 minutes by car. It's got shops, cafes, a Co-op, and the old Ruthin Gaol. Llangollen is under half an hour away if you want to see the canal or get the steam train. For bigger days out, Snowdonia is about 40 minutes' drive. The coast, like Prestatyn, is under an hour.

Things here: bedding and towels are included, there's WiFi and a TV, parking right outside. It's all on one level so step-free access is fine. You can bring two dogs. We're on a farm, so you need to keep them under control around the livestock.
