Buzzard Cottage
Buzzard Cottage is one of a small group of bungalows on a private estate near Cambusbarron. That's about four miles from Stirling. The outlook is the main thing. You look straight out over a private loch with cliffs on the far side. It's peaceful.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything is on the ground floor. It’s got a 4 Star rating, meaning it’s well-equipped and comfortable. Things like good linen and towels are included. The owners provide robes and slippers, which is a nice touch. They also leave a welcome pack with bubbly. They live on site and are helpful if you need anything.
There's an honesty room with books, DVDs, and games. The cottage itself has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Plenty of parking right outside.
You're in the countryside but Stirling is a ten minute drive. It's got the castle, the Wallace Monument, shops, and plenty of places to eat. The motorway is five miles away, so Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Perth are all easy for day trips.
For walking, a good cliff-top path starts from the cottages. Golf is nearby, with several courses. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is about 20 miles to the west. Gleneagles is 35 minutes by car if you're feeling fancy.
