Peregrine Cottage is on our land just outside Cambusbarron. It's about four miles from Stirling. The view is the main thing. It looks out over a loch we own, surrounded by tall cliffs. You do see ospreys here a lot in the season.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've tried to make it comfortable. Bedding and towels are included.
You can walk straight out from here onto the cliff tops. For a longer drive, the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park is about twenty miles. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth are all under an hour by car.
Stirling is close. The castle and the Wallace Monument are worth seeing. There are plenty of places to eat and shop there.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. There's an open plan living area. WiFi is included. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're looking for information on the area, the VisitScotland site is useful, as is the National Trust for Scotland page for Stirling Castle.
