This is Dunmaghlas. It's in Pirnmill on Arran. The cottage is detached and you're right on the shore, maybe fifteen yards from the beach. It's shingle, not sand.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring up to two dogs.
The best thing is the view. You can see the sea from most rooms and from the conservatory. You look out over the Kilbrannan Sound towards Kintyre. The sunsets are good from there.
There's a shop and a restaurant about a quarter of a mile away. The village has a pop-up pub on the first Saturday of each month. For more, Lochranza is a short drive. It's got facilities, a couple of restaurants, and the Arran Distillery. You can get the ferry to Claonaig on Kintyre from there if you want to explore.
Arran itself is great for walking and wildlife. You might see deer, eagles, or seals. There are stone circles and good paths. There are seven golf courses on the island if that's your thing. Brodick Castle is worth a visit.
The facilities are what you'd expect: woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. There's a garden. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. There's bike storage.
