The Roundel is near St Michaels in Fife. It's a semi-detached house, peaceful, with big views over fields from the back.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The main living room has patio doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or dogs. You can fit two cars on the drive.
The local pub is about half a mile up the road. The nearest shop is two miles away in the market town of Cupar, which is where you'd go for a proper supermarket.
You're about six miles from the coast at Tentsmuir Forest. It's a long beach with dunes, good for walks. St Andrews is a 15 minute drive. You've got the university, the shops, the beach, and the golf courses there. Dundee is also about 15 minutes the other way. The Discovery Point museum with Captain Scott's ship is worth a visit.
If you're here for golf, St Andrews is the obvious place. For a day out, Falkland Palace is interesting. It was used in the Outlander TV series. The Scottish Deer Centre is nearby too, which kids tend to like.
Facilities: it's got wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside.
