The Roundel
The Roundel is near St Michaels in Fife. It's a semi-detached house. The main thing is the view. The living room has big windows and three sets of patio doors looking straight out over the fields. You can't really see any other houses.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-finished. There's nothing spectacular about the layout itself.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio and garden furniture, and a barbecue. For kids, there's a toy corner inside, and we've got a highchair, a cot and a stairgate.
A word of warning: you'll need a car. The nearest shop and restaurant are about two miles away. There's a local pub within half a mile you can walk to.
The coast is about six miles away. You've got Tentsmuir Forest and beach there, which is all dunes and sand.
You're very central for the main places. St Andrews is about a 15 minute drive. That's where you go for the golf, obviously, but also the university, the beaches, the shops and cafes. Dundee is also around 15 minutes the other way. That's got the RRS Discovery at Discovery Point and things like the swimming pool at the Olympia.
Other things nearby include the Scottish Deer Centre, horse riding stables, and Falkland Palace. It's also got some Outlander filming locations if that's your thing.

Facilities: pretty standard, but everything is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and parking for two medium sized cars. You can bring up to two pets.
