Situated on a working sheep farm, this gorgeous cottage has been renovated to a high standard and stands in its own grounds overlooking the rolling countryside. This property has everything you could need and more for a fabulous holiday whether with friends, family or couples alike.
There is an enclosed garden which is ideal to exercise your pets and there is a great utility room at the end of the property should you want to wash/dry your pets after exploring the local countryside. There is an open plan living space downstairs with a contemporary fitted kitchen and dining area, the living area has a multi-fuel burner which is great for those cosy evenings once the sun has gone down. Patio doors lead out into the garden and seating area, watch the sun go down with a glass of something nice and listen to the wildlife. Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, all with the luxury of an en-suite bath or shower room.
There are plenty of areas to explore. The market town of Rhayader has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops and nestles on the banks of the River Wye, just over 5 miles away. A visit to Elan Valley is a must with great walks and cycle paths with spectacular views of the open countryside, dams and reservoirs and the red kite feeding station is worth visiting to see these birds in action. Llandrindod Wells is approximately 8 miles away and has an array of places to visit such as the Lake Park. The town itself is an old spa town with restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, the National Cycle Museum and Rock Park. Builth Wells is 11 miles away and is the home of the Royal Welsh Showground which hosts multiple events throughout the year. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub 4 miles.
