Willow Cottage is in Paxford village, a few minutes out of Chipping Campden. It's a stone cottage right on the green, so you look out onto that. The green's quiet, there's a bit of play equipment for small kids and plenty of space for a kick about.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
The garden is the main thing. It's fully enclosed and private. Lots of climbing plants, a big patio, and a sun house. You can sit out there and just look at the hills.
The village pub is closed after a fire. They're fixing it, but there's no date yet. There are good pubs in Ebrington, Blockley, and Chipping Campden, all about two miles away. You can walk it if you don't mind a bit of a stroll.
The closest shop is in Chipping Campden, two miles away. Blockley also has a shop and post office, same distance.
You're really in the middle of everything here. Chipping Campden is a proper Cotswold market town. Broadway is about ten minutes by car. Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park is great for kids, that's just up near Guiting Power. Stratford-upon-Avon is about half an hour's drive. Cheltenham is about twenty-five minutes.
For walks, you're surrounded by footpaths. The Cotswolds National Landscape site has maps. The National Trust has a lot of properties nearby, like Hidcote and Snowshill Manor.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking on site. The entrance has wheelchair access, but it's a cottage so the internal layout might be tight in places. No pets.
