Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Chipping Campden, up a small lane off the main street. It's one of a pair. The garden is all yours, it's got a table and chairs and gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's got some character but it's comfortable. The living room has an open fire in a big inglenook fireplace. We leave some logs for you to get started.
The thatch means the ceilings are low in places. You'll need to mind your head on the main bedroom doorframe and on the beam in the kitchen. The stairs are narrow and winding, that's just how it is.
You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. All the shops, pubs and restaurants are there. It's a nice walk.
For days out, you're right in the middle of the Cotswolds. Hidcote Garden is about ten minutes by car, it's National Trust. Broadway Tower is a similar drive. Stratford-upon-Avon is about twenty minutes, Cheltenham is half an hour.
What's here: we include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking for one car on the drive. We can put a cot in the main bedroom if you need it. No pets, I'm afraid.
