Rose Cottage No2

Right, so Rose Cottage No2 is my terrace on Dial Bank in Chipping Campden. The thatch is about 300 years old. It doesn't face the main road, you walk up a little path to get to it. It looks over fields at the back.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently so it's comfortable. The stairs are narrow and steep though. They are original, so you just need to take them slowly.

The garden's enclosed. It's got a table and chairs. There's a wood burner in the sitting room for cooler nights.

You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. The High Street has everything you need. A good butcher, cafes, and a couple of places for dinner. The Eight Bells pub is about half a mile down the lane.

The Cotswold Way footpath runs right past the cottage. You can pick it up and walk to Broadway Tower without getting on a road. Hidcote Manor Garden and Kiftsgate Court are both very close for a visit.

For days out, Broadway village is about 5 miles away. Stratford-upon-Avon is about 10 miles. Cheltenham, Oxford, and Bath are all within a reasonable drive if you fancy something bigger.

Facilities are: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine, parking for one car on the gravel area, and bedding and towels are included. It's no pets, I'm afraid.
