Rose Cottage No2 is on a quiet lane in Chipping Campden. It's one of a pair of thatched cottages, built in the 1700s. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable. It's an old cottage though, so mind your head on the beams, and the stairs are steep, as you'd expect.
The town centre is a five minute walk. The high street has a few pubs that do food, a couple of butchers, and some small shops. There's a Co-op for groceries.
You're right on the edge of the Cotswold Way. You can walk to Broadway Tower from here, it's about six miles. Hidcote Garden is a ten minute drive, and Kiftsgate Court is just next to it. Both are National Trust. National Trust Hidcote.
Broadway village is about five miles. Stratford-upon-Avon is about half an hour's drive if you want to see a play. Moreton-in-Marsh has a train station if you need it.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The WiFi works. Parking is on the lane right outside. Bedding and towels are included, and we can provide a cot. No pets, I'm afraid.
