Station Lodge is in Stretton on Fosse. It's a detached house, used to be the station lodge for the old railway. We live next door.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. One bedroom and a shower room are downstairs, the other two bedrooms are upstairs and each have their own bathroom. The downstairs bedroom can be set up as a twin or a super king.
The living area is open plan, kitchen, dining, sitting room. Doors go out to the garden, which is enclosed. There's a patio with a table.
The village is about a mile away. There's a pub there that does food. The nearest shop is in Moreton-in-Marsh, about three miles.
You're right in the Cotswolds. There are footpaths from the village into the fields. Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold are close. Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden are all within a half hour drive.
For days out, Stratford-upon-Avon is about 25 minutes. Oxford is maybe 40 minutes. The Hidcote gardens are nearby. Blenheim Palace is under an hour.
Facilities: everything's included, bedding, towels, Wi-Fi. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, parking. No pets. It's got a 5 Star rating.
