Station Lodge is, as you'd guess, the old station lodge for Stretton on Fosse station. It's detached now. We're next door if you need anything, but you won't see us otherwise.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which works well for groups. One bedroom and a shower room are on the ground floor. That room can be a twin or a super king. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, both with their own ensuite. The stairs are normal.
The main living space is open plan, kitchen, dining and sitting area. It's a comfortable room. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids or a dog. You can sit out there. There's a BBQ.
The village of Stretton on Fosse is about a mile away. It's quiet. There's a pub and restaurant about a mile in the other direction. For a shop, you'll need to go to Moreton-in-Marsh or Shipston-on-Stour, which are both about three miles. They're proper little market towns.
You're right in the Cotswolds here. There are footpaths from the village into the countryside. Moreton, Stow, Bourton-on-the-Water are all within fifteen or twenty minutes' drive. Broadway Tower and Chipping Campden are about the same.
Further out, you can get to Stratford-upon-Avon in under half an hour for the theatre. Oxford is about forty-five minutes. Blenheim Palace is a similar drive. Cheltenham is about forty minutes if you're after the races.
For days out, the National Trust in the Cotswolds page is useful. Hidcote Gardens is close by.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. Pets are allowed. The rating is 5 Star, which just means everything's in good order.
