The property is a townhouse on the edge of Shipston on Stour. It's in a quiet street, about a ten minute walk from the town centre. You can see fields from the back.
It sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. We allow up to two dogs.
The stairs are quite steep, as they are in a lot of these places. We've put a stairgate at the top. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs or kids. There's parking for one car right outside.
Shipston itself is a proper market town. It's got a co-op, a couple of butchers, and some nice pubs that do food. You don't need to drive if you just want a pint.
For days out, you're right on the edge of the Cotswolds. Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are about twenty minutes' drive. Stratford-upon-Avon is fifteen minutes away for the theatre. The National Trust's Hidcote gardens are very close, and Warwick Castle is about half an hour.
In the house you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a cot and a highchair in the cupboard under the stairs if you need them.
