This is the cosy Cotswolds townhouse in Shipston on Stour. It's a semi-detached house on a quiet residential street. You can walk into the town centre in about ten minutes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are a bit narrow at the top, as you'd expect in an older house. There's a stairgate at the bottom.
The garden is enclosed, so it's secure for dogs. It's paved with a bit of lawn and a table. There's a barbecue there too.
Shipston is a proper market town. It's not too touristy. There are a few good pubs that do food, a butcher, a couple of cafes, and the usual shops. It's a useful base.
You're right on the edge of the Cotswolds here. Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh are about ten minutes' drive. Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway are maybe twenty minutes. For a big day out, Stratford-upon-Avon is twenty minutes away. Warwick Castle is about half an hour. Hidcote and Kiftsgate gardens are very close.
Inside, there's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. The parking is on the driveway at the front for one car.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please just keep them off the furniture.
