The Old Workshop is on our farm in Alderminster. It's a detached barn we converted. High ceilings, some beams. You're looking out over fields.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy with a big group.
The farm is mixed arable and sheep. You'll see it all going on. There are public footpaths right from the gate if you want to walk.
The local pub and a farm shop are about a mile away in the village. Both are good. Stratford-upon-Avon is six miles. That's where you go for the Shakespeare stuff, the theatre, and the shops.
Within half an hour you can be in Warwick for the castle, or Leamington Spa. The edge of the Cotswolds is about the same drive. Stow-on-the-Wold or Bourton-on-the-Water are the typical spots people head for.
Further out, but still under an hour, you've got Oxford, Worcester, or Birmingham if you need a city.
At the house, there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed. Parking is right outside. All bedding and towels are included.
