Jumbo's Stable is in Alderminster, beside a working farm. It's on the ground floor. The space used to be a stable, but it's all been done up inside. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms.
You share the farm courtyard. There's a private patio which is enclosed, so it's safe for kids if you have them. You look out over fields. It's quiet. Sometimes you hear farm sounds. Cows, tractors.
The farm has sheep and chickens. There are footpaths that go straight out from the property. You can walk to Alderminster village in about twenty minutes. There's a pub and a farm shop there.
Stratford-upon-Avon is six miles away. That's Shakespeare's town. It’s got the theatres and the river. The Royal Shakespeare Company website has show listings.
Warwick Castle is half an hour by car. The Cotswolds are also about thirty minutes. I’d go to Chipping Campden or Bourton-on-the-Water if you’ve never been. There's a nice National Trust guide.
Inside, it's comfortable. There's a woodburner. Kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. TV. Everything's included, bedding and towels too. There's parking right outside. No pets allowed.
