Jumbo's Stable
Jumbo's Stable is on our working farm in Alderminster. It's a conversion from an old stable block. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms have their own shower room, which is handy.
The farm is mixed, so there are arable fields, sheep, and chickens around. You'll see them from the windows. There's a good enclosed garden for you to use.
The property has a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. There's also a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is right outside.
The village pub and a farm shop are about a mile's walk down the lane. They're both very good. The shop sells local meat and produce.
Stratford-upon-Avon is about six miles away. That's where you'll find the Shakespeare theatres, like the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the river. It's good for a day out.
Warwick and its castle are about half an hour's drive. The edge of the Cotswolds is also within a thirty minute drive, places like Chipping Campden or Broadway.
Further out, but still under an hour, you've got Oxford, Worcester, or Cheltenham if you want a bigger trip.
The place is rated 4 Star. It's comfortable and clean. It's on a farm, so you might hear tractors sometimes. That's about it.
