Hurdlemakers Loft

Hurdlemakers Loft is in Upper Brailes, right on the border with the Cotswolds. It's attached to our place, but it's separate. You get the garden out the back to yourselves. It's an upside-down house, so you go upstairs to the living area and bedroom.

It's a one-bedroom place for two people. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well put together and comfortable. There's a washing machine, a proper oven, and everything's included. It is an old building though. The stairs to get up to the loft are original. They're steep and they turn. You need to be steady on your feet.

The village has a bakery, a newsagent that sells milk and basics, and a butchers. There's a pub about 200 yards away that does food. Everything you need for a weekend is walkable.

If you want to go out, it's a good spot for it. Shipston-on-Stour is three miles for a bigger shop. Stratford-upon-Avon, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold are all about twenty minutes in the car. You can do a lot of the Cotswold market towns easily from here.

The footpaths are right outside the door. You can walk for miles without seeing a road. For a longer drive out, places like Warwick Castle or Blenheim Palace are under an hour.

Things here: parking is right outside your door. There's a TV, wifi, the bedding and towels are provided. There's an enclosed patio with a barbecue. No pets, I'm afraid.
