The Dairy is in Compton. It's one of four cottages on our family farm, used to be farm buildings. You get your own little enclosed garden with it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable, not just basic. It's all on one level, which is handy.
The village shop and the tea room are about a hundred yards away. The tea room has Wi-Fi. The pub is about the same distance. All perfectly fine.
You're right in the South Downs National Park here. There's a bridle path from the farm that leads straight up to the South Downs Way for walking. Good for a proper stretch of the legs.
Chichester is about ten miles. It's a nice old town with the cathedral and normal high street shops. The harbour is there too for boat trips.
If you're into it, Goodwood and Fontwell for racing, or polo at Cowdray Park, are all within twenty minutes or so. Portsmouth for a bigger day out is about half an hour's drive.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.
