The Bull Pen

The Bull Pen is on our family farm just outside the village of Compton. It used to be a farm building. There are a few cottages in a row here, but yours is separate, with its own enclosed garden.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One of the bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor and the kitchen worktop is lowered. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after, but it’s not a show home.

The village shop and a tea room are about a hundred yards away. The tea room does decent cakes and has Wi-Fi. The local pub is about the same distance.

You’re in the South Downs National Park here. There’s a bridle path from the farm that leads up to the South Downs Way. It’s good walking country.

Chichester is about ten miles. That's where the cathedral is. There are shops and restaurants there too. Goodwood racecourse and Fontwell are close by if that's your thing. Portsmouth, for shopping or the historic dockyard, is about half an hour's drive.

The facilities are what you’d expect: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, Wi-Fi, woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
