The Bull Pen

The Bull Pen is a converted farm building. It's on our family farm in Compton, in the South Downs National Park.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is unusual and helps if you've got a few people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level, so it's a bungalow. That and the wet room and the lower kitchen worktops mean it works for someone in a wheelchair. Just let us know if you need that.

The garden is yours and it's enclosed. There's a woodburning stove for the winter. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside.

You can bring two dogs. We ask that they stay off the furniture and you clean up after them in the garden.

The village shop and a tea room are about 100 yards away. The tea room has Wi-Fi. There's a pub the same distance.

You can walk straight from the property onto a bridle path that links up to the South Downs Way. It's proper walking country. For other days out, Chichester is about ten miles. It's got the cathedral, shops, and places to eat. Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses aren't far. Portsmouth is within easy reach for shopping or the historic dockyard.
