Bryn Cosyn

Bryn Cosyn is a lodge on Itton Common, between Shirenewton and Chepstow. It's detached, so it's on its own. You look out over fields. It's a quiet spot.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. The bed splits into two singles if you need it. There's a main room with the kitchen, table and sofa. Patio doors go straight out to your own bit of garden and a lawn.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a washing machine, a TV, and Wi-Fi. All the bedding and towels are provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The owners have a five acre field next door that you can use. It's good for letting a dog have a proper run.

You're right in the Wye Valley. Good walking from the door. Chepstow is about ten minutes away by car. The castle is worth a look. The Wye Valley Walk and Tintern Abbey are a short drive. For planning, the Wye Valley AONB site is useful.

The Forest of Dean is maybe twenty minutes away. You can go cycling or walking there. St. Pierre golf course is nearby if you play.

There are a couple of pubs in the local villages. For a meal out, Usk or Monmouth have more options. They're about a fifteen to twenty minute drive.

That's about it. It's a clean, comfortable place to come back to after being out.
