Bier House is in Blockley. It's a detached cottage, though it used to be part of the village church. That's where the name comes from.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. One is on the ground floor with a double bed. The main bedroom is upstairs and has a king-size bed. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There's a small raised courtyard garden off the main bedroom. It's a suntrap in the afternoon. You get a bit of a view over the village rooftops from up there.
Downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and sitting area all in one room. It works well. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, just so you know.
Blockley itself is quiet. There's a good village shop and a cafe about a minute's walk away. A couple of pubs are close by too, in walking distance.
For walking, you can pick up the Cotswold Way nearby. Chipping Campden is about ten minutes drive. Moreton-in-Marsh, with the train station, is a similar distance. Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are within twenty minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. No pets.
