Lantern Cottage is in Longborough, a small village in the Cotswolds. It's a semi-detached cottage, built from the local stone. The garden is small and neat, a sunny spot to sit out.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 5 Star rating, so everything is in good order and kept very clean.
The cottage has things like a woodburning stove, dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and parking right outside.
Longborough has a village shop and a pub, both a short walk away. The pub does food. The area is very good for walking. You can pick up the Monarch's Way or the Heart of England Way from here.
Moreton-in-Marsh is about three miles away. Stow-on-the-Wold is about four miles. Both have shops, cafes, and places to eat.
There are quite a few gardens and estates to visit nearby, if that's your thing. Sezincote and Batsford Arboretum are within a 20 minute drive. The Cotswold Farm Park is about 15 minutes away, which is good if you have children. For a longer day out, you could drive to Sudeley Castle near Winchcombe.
If you're coming in late June or July, the Longborough Festival Opera is on here in the village. It's a local event.
