Holly No.2 is an apartment in Althorne. It's on the first floor of a converted building. Sleeps four, two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower.
You get the whole place to yourselves with your own front door. It's open plan inside, so the kitchen, living and dining area are all one space. The windows look out over the fields and you can see the River Crouch. It's a quiet spot.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. They do food. For a proper day out, Burnham-on-Crouch is a few miles down the road. It's got a proper sailing vibe and nice walks along the river. Maldon is about twenty minutes by car, famous for the Thames Barges at the Hythe.
There's a vineyard next door, Crouch Ridge. You can book a tasting tour or just go for something to eat. Good views from there.
Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
If you're looking for walks or things to do, the Visit Essex site is useful. For the coastal path, Essex Coast has maps.
