Woodland House

Woodland House is near Rochford in Essex. It's a big, detached house that sleeps ten. It's got five bedrooms and, because each one is ensuite, five bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's finished to a high spec. More luxury than rustic.

The main space is all open plan, kitchen, dining, and sitting area. There's a woodburning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio, seating, and a barbecue.

It's in the countryside but not far from town. Rochford centre is about a fifteen minute walk. There's a market on Tuesdays. You can get a train from Rochford station, which is useful.

By car, you can be at Southend seafront in under ten minutes. That's where the pier is, and Adventure Island. Leigh-on-Sea, with the old town and cockle sheds, is about fifteen minutes. For a longer walk or some birdwatching, you've got the Thames Estuary path and Two Tree Island close by.

We accept up to two dogs. There's on-site parking and an electric vehicle charger.
