Cross Keys House

Cross Keys House is a detached townhouse in Kirk Yetholm. It’s on the village green. The house is tall, over three floors, so there are quite a few stairs.

It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well kept. There’s a proper dining room, which is good if you’re a group. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Outside, there’s a walled garden at the back. It gets the sun in the morning. You can park on the street right outside.

You can bring one dog. There’s bedding and towels here for you.

The village is quiet. There’s a pub a few minutes walk away. Kirk Yetholm is the official end of the Pennine Way. For walking, you’re right on the edge of the Cheviot Hills. St. Cuthbert’s Way goes through here too.

Kelso is about fifteen minutes by car. It has a square, some shops, and Floors Castle. The River Tweed is good for fishing if that’s your thing. The coast at Berwick-upon-Tweed is roughly forty minutes away.
