Lochside Garden House

Lochside Garden House is in Town Yetholm, in the Scottish Borders. It's part of a big Victorian house, a private wing. It sleeps fourteen people. Seven bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean rather than luxurious.

The garden is south facing and feels very separate. There's a private hot tub, a firepit, and some garden games like badminton. The view looks out over the garden to Yetholm Loch, with the hills behind. It's a proper countryside spot. There are horses and rare sheep in the fields around.

Inside, it's spacious, which is the main thing for a big group. There are two open fires. The kitchen has a large dining table and an electric range cooker. There's a library of books, a piano, and a chest of toys. Wi-Fi and TV are there. There's a shared barn next door with a snooker table and darts.

The stairs are fine, but some are the original, steeper cottage style. We've put stairgates at the top.

You’re welcome to bring up to four dogs.

You can walk from the house through the woods to Yetholm Loch. It's a wildlife reserve. There's a rowing boat there you can use.

The village of Yetholm is about two and a half miles away. It has a couple of pubs, a shop, and a post office. Kelso is seven miles for bigger supermarkets. You can be at the Northumberland coast in under an hour. Edinburgh is about an hour's drive, same for Alnwick Castle and its gardens.

For facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, highchair, and a cot. Parking is on site.
