Lochside Stable House is in Town Yetholm, in the Scottish Borders. It's a detached, Victorian stable block conversion. It sleeps up to 12 people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and has everything you need, but it's not a luxury hotel. It's more of a practical, big space for a group.
The garden is large and private. There's a hot tub, a firepit, and a barbecue. There's also an enclosed yard which is useful if you have dogs. The view from the front is over Yetholm Loch, which is a wildlife reserve. You'll see fields with horses and sheep.
Inside, it's spacious. The kitchen has a big table and an electric range cooker. There's an open fire in the living room, a grand piano, and lots of books. In a shared barn next door, there's a snooker table and a dartboard.
You're welcome to walk around the farm and woods here. You can also use the rowing boat on the loch for fishing or just for being out on the water. The village of Yetholm is two miles away for a pub and a shop. Kelso, for bigger supermarkets, is about seven miles.
For days out, you're close to the border. Good beaches, like those near Berwick, are about half an hour away. The hills are right here for walking. Kelso has its abbey and Floors Castle is nearby. If you want to go further, Edinburgh or Alnwick Castle are roughly an hour's drive.
Facilities include all the basics: bedding, towels, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Pets are allowed, up to four. Parking is on site.
