Nolands Strachur

This is Nolands. It's a bungalow in Strachur, right on the side of Loch Fyne. You get the whole place to yourselves. It's detached. The garden looks out over the loch.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. Because it's a bungalow, all the rooms are on one level. No stairs.

You can bring one dog. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave you some logs to start with. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV. Bedding and towels are included.

Outside, there's a garden with a patio and a BBQ. You can park right next to the house.

Strachur itself is quiet. There's a shop and a hotel with a bar about a mile away. The famous Loch Fyne Oyster Bar is just up the road, maybe a five minute drive.

If you like walking, you can start right from the door. The Cowal Way footpath goes through here. For fishing or a boat trip, the loch is on your doorstep. There's a golf course in the village too.

Inveraray is about a twenty minute drive along the loch. You've got Inveraray Castle and the old jail there. If you want to go further, Glen Coe and the Arrochar Alps are within an hour for bigger hills.
