The Old Loft is in Slaidburn, in the Forest of Bowland. It’s a one bed place for two people.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable. The main room downstairs is open plan, kitchen and living area together. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor above it, up a set of stairs. You can see the beams. The shower room is off the main room.
There’s a small patio area right outside your door with a table and chairs.
It’s on a village lane. There’s a pub in the village, the Hark to Bounty, which does food. There’s a village shop and a tea room. The River Hodder runs through.
For walking, you’re right in the middle of it. You can step straight out onto footpaths. The Forest of Bowland is all around. The Forest of Bowland website has maps and routes.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Clitheroe, which has a castle and shops. The edge of the Yorkshire Dales is about that way too, near Settle. Pendle Hill is close if you want that walk.
It comes with bedding and towels. There’s WiFi and a TV. Parking is on the lane outside.
