Half Of 2
This place is Half Of 2. It's in Torrin, on the south-east side of Skye, right by the loch.
It's a detached bungalow, sleeps five. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in the main living space, which is open plan. The garden has a decked bit with a good view of the Cuillin mountains.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor with its own shower room. The second bedroom is upstairs and it's got two double beds in it. The stairs up are a bit steep, like a ship's ladder. Fine for most, but maybe not for very small children or if you have mobility issues.
It's a good spot for getting around. The Marble Pools are just down the road for a paddle. You're about 15 minutes' drive from Broadford for shops. Elgol, for boat trips to Loch Coruisk, is about 20 minutes the other way.
For the bigger walks, you're well placed. The Old Man of Storr is about 40 minutes north. The Quiraing is a bit further, maybe 50 minutes. The Fairy Pools are over the other side of the Cuillins, about a 35 minute drive from here.
Facilities: everything's there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars. You can bring up to two dogs.
