The Isle View Nest is in Harrapool, near Broadford on Skye. It's a one bedroom cabin for two people, right on the shore.
It's a single room really, with a kitchen and living space at one end and the bed at the other. There's a low wall dividing the sleeping area, but it's open plan. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Everything is on the ground floor and there's level access from the parking space.
The main thing is the view. The wall facing the sea is mostly glass, so you're looking right out over Broadford Bay to the islands. The tide goes right out, so one minute there's water at the edge of the garden, the next there's a huge beach. It changes all day.
Outside, there's a deck with chairs. It's a good spot. Inside, you've got a large kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine, a comfortable sofa, and a big television. It's warm and the wi-fi works.
Broadford village is about a mile away. It has a decent Co-op supermarket for shopping, along with a few places to eat. The closest pub is there too.
For getting out, you're well placed. The Cuillin mountains are about 20 minutes by car. The Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing are maybe 40 minutes. Elgol and the Sleat peninsula are close as well. You can drive to Neist Point lighthouse in under an hour.
