The Isle View Nest is in Harrapool, just outside Broadford on Skye. It's a small, detached cabin right by the sea. The view is out over Broadford Bay towards Pabay island. The tide comes right in and out here, so sometimes you're looking at water and sometimes there's a big stretch of beach.
It sleeps two people. It's essentially one open plan room with a kitchen and living area, then a sleeping space divided by a low wall. There's a separate walk-in shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well-equipped, not fancy.
The big sliding doors let in a lot of light. There's a deck outside with chairs. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. TV and WiFi are included, and the bedding and towels are provided.
It's all on one level and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right there.
For supplies, Broadford is a couple of minutes down the road. It has a good Co-op supermarket, petrol station, and a few places to eat. The closest pub and restaurant is about a mile away.
Location-wise, it's good for getting around. You're right on the A87. The Cuillin hills are about 20 minutes drive. The Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr are maybe 40 minutes. Elgol and the Sleat peninsula are close too.
If you're planning walks or days out, these sites are useful: Isle of Skye, National Trust for Scotland Glencoe, and NatureScot.
The cabin is on its own, but there's another place called Isle View next door. They can be booked together if you're a bigger group.
