Isle View is in Harrapool, on the Isle of Skye. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You can see it from the road, on the right just past the village shop.
The main thing is the position. It's about fifty yards from the sea. You look straight out over Broadford Bay to the mountains. The view doesn't get old.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, but don't expect luxury fittings. It's a solid house.
You're on the water, but the shore there is rocky. It's not a sandy beach. Good for a paddle or looking in rock pools, but you'd want water shoes. For a proper swim, you'd drive to one of the west coast beaches.
There's a shop about five minutes walk away. A pub and restaurant are maybe three minutes in the other direction. Both are fine. The pub does meals.
You can see a lot from here without driving for hours. Portree is about half an hour north. Plockton is similar, that way. The road to Applecross is an hour, but it's a proper mountain pass, so check the weather. Eilean Donan Castle is about forty minutes drive.
If you're into walking, you're in the right place. Glen Sligachan or the Quiraing are within reach for a day out. For boat trips, you'd usually go from Portree or Elgol.
What's here: wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, a garden with furniture, TV, WiFi. Parking for one car right outside. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
