Oasis Cottage
Oasis Cottage is in Broughton Gifford village. It's a two up, two down cottage. It doesn't feel overlooked. There's a front garden and a back one. The back gate opens onto a field that's full of wildflowers in the summer.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One room has a kingsize bed that can be split into two singles. The other has a double. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle. There's also a small third room upstairs with a desk if you need to work.
Downstairs, the kitchen is separate from the dining room. The cooker is a Rangemaster. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. The living room has a wood burner and a Smart TV. You'll need to use internet streaming on the TV, as there's no normal aerial signal here.
You can bring up to two dogs. The gardens are enclosed. There's off-road parking for one car.
The village has a shop and a pub, both within walking distance. Bradford-on-Avon is about four miles away. You can walk along the canal from there. Bath is 11 miles away for the Roman Baths and shopping.
For days out, Lacock Abbey is about 20 minutes by car. Castle Combe is roughly half an hour's drive. Stonehenge, Avebury and Longleat are all within a 45 minute drive.
