The Farm House
The Farm House is here in Elston, Nottinghamshire. It's part of a group of barn conversions called Honies Farm Barns. This one is detached, sleeps ten, and has five bedrooms. There are four bathrooms which is handy for a group that size.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which in this case means it's finished to a high standard. Underfloor heating, Smart TVs you can log into, that sort of thing. There's a hot tub, an enclosed garden, and a woodburning stove. It's on a working farm, so you might see tractors about. There's plenty of parking.
You can bring up to three dogs. We provide bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The location is rural. You look out over fields. There's a shop and a pub about three miles away in Farndon. The pub there overlooks the River Trent.
Newark is five miles off. You can get boat trips on the river from there. Nottingham is about eighteen miles, Lincoln is twenty-three. Both are easy for a day out. The area is good for walking and cycling. If you fish, there's local fishing available.
